Florence is the child of a single mother. She has a best friend whose brother is her crush. Her friend refuses her from making advances at her brother but due to her stubborn nature, Florence goes ahead to go contrary to their agreement. She finds out that her friend's brother actually loves her but wants her to finish school first. She tries to speed up the process of him accepting her by getting along with Tom, his friend. She is warned against this but she does not listen and gets raped. She eventually becomes pregnant and ashamed of herself. How will her Mum react? Will she abort the child? What about her education?

So much tragedy and lessons to be learned in the book, titled, “Circle”.

Everyone's life begins from childhood to adulthood with the future stretching like a road leading into a distance, and along that road are ambitions to accomplish and desires to gratify. However, in between the childhood and adulthood lies the most important phase of life; the YOUTH phase. Also very important is the fact that this phase of life is very transient. The youthful phase is the time to determine what one's adult life will be. It is the most critical period of one's life because any mistake made at this time might lead to a life-long regret or an ignoble adult life. This is why this book is in your hands to help you begin to think of taking the responsibility of how your adult life will be.

In line with this, the book is packaged into fifteen chapters, treating great subjects on those things that a youth should run away from and those to embrace in order to grow up into a responsible adult.

Although the book is targeted at the youth, our parents should come along with us as they will also have a lot to learn in order to join the support team that will assist to shape the lives of our youths for a glorious adulthood.

The book is an attempt to present honest answers to some of the questions I feel youths and teenagers should know about sex, love and relationships. It is a unique book that deals with these issues in a Christian perspective.
