A salvation that does not include money is a useless salvation. It makes you useless to your family, to God and to your community. Because money answers to everything in life. Without money your life will pack up, it will knock sooner or later. It makes you irresponsible even through you carry bible around while your wife, children, parents and pastor suffers unnecessarily.
What is good news to the poor? It is having money to put food on your table, its having enough money to buy drugs to save your life, its having money to start that business or further your education! It is having enough money to live a better life. Its becoming the giver not the beggar! The will of God is for you to live a better life than you are already living. Jesus said “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly”. (John 10:10).
