The Covered Web is a fiction about the ills of telling lies.
i. Do not tell a child a lie, else they may believe it to be true, and patter their lives after that lie.
ii. The imagination of children can be very active. If misdirected, the child can be lead astray.
iii. Lies told to a child can appear real to the child, and can mislead the child into acts that are dangerous.
iv. Errors made in child training are difficult to erase.
Only the truth heals the mind.
A lie told to cover another lie never works.
